Fikri Cantürk
(Ankara, 1933)
He graduated from the GEE Painting Work
Department in 1957. In 1972 he served
in the foundation of the Samsun Institute
of Education Department of Painting.
He was the department head for ten years.
In 1983 he completed his bachelor’s
degree. In 1987 he became associate
professor and a full professor in 1993.
He opened his first individual exhibition
in Samsun in 1963. From 1967 onwards
he participated in joint and group exhibitions,
and organized individual exhibitions.
In 1996 he retired from the Anatolian
University Faculty of Education Department
of Painting. Today he continues his
studies in his private workshop. |
