HABIB AYDOGDU
(Konya, 1952)
He completed his art education at the
Istanbul Teachers’ School seminar
and Applied Fine Arts Institute. He
has opened around forty individual exhibitions
in various cities, especially Ankara,
Istanbul and Izmir, and abroad. He has
participated in many joint exhibitions.
Besides the introductory catalogs prepared
for his individual exhibitions, two
books have been published about him.
Aydogdu, for whom artistic activities
are the essence of his life, continues
his studies in Ankara. He has won twelve
awards, including the 48th State Painting
and Sculpture Exhibition award in 1987,
and the 8th Asia Arts Biennial Honor
Award. The artist describes his art
as follows: “Actually I am painting
not my canvas but my dreams”. |
