ISMAIL ALINOK (Burdur 1920 - 2002)
He graduated in 1943 from the G.E.E. Painting-Work Department. His opened his first one man show in 1948 in Ankara. He served as a teacher of painting at various schools and retired in 1973. Beginning in 1950, his reviews and articles on art started appearing in various magazines and newspapers. He collected these articles in several books, including Bugünkü Türk Resmi/Turkish Painting of Today (1971), Yeni Resim-Is Dersleri/New Painting-Work Lessons (1975), Bir Ressamin Notlari/Notes of a Painter (1980).

Awards: 1943 Ankara, The People’s House Painting Competition 2nd Prize Award, 1959 20. DRHS Painting Disciple 2nd Prize Award, 1975 DHRS Success Award.
