NESE ERDOK (Istanbul-1940)
She graduated in 1963 from the IDGSA Painting Department, where she worked under Neset Günal. From 1965-66 she performed studied in Madrid on a scholarship from the Spanish Government. From 1967-72 she studied painting, fresco, and stained glass at ENSBA. In 1974 her first detailed exhibition was held in the Academy saloons. Today she is an instructor at the MSÜ Faculty of Fine Arts Painting Department, Istanbul. She received the 16th DYO exhibition special award in 1973, 2nd Istanbul Arts Festival in1979, the 14th DYO exhibition Mention in 1980, the Vakko Grand Painting Competition 1st Prize award in 1981, and the Sedat Simavi Foundation Visual Arts Awards in 1986.
