VEYSEL GÜNAY (Vakfibekir, 1948)
He graduated from the Gazi Institute of Education Painting Department in 1969. He was then awarded a scholarship hired by the Ministry of Education studies painting and fresco in France at the Paris State Institute of Fine Arts from 1970-74. For many years he worked in the Hacettepe University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Painting. He has had 26 individual exhibitions and won eight awards in various competitions, including the DYO Painting Award and the State Painting and Sculpture Exhibition Award. He presently works as an instructor in the Beykent University Faculty of Fine Arts Department of Painting, in Istanbul,

In his paintings he tries to catch the color of the universal light, day light, in patterns that he has established on in motifs obtained through observations and impressions of nature.
